Days after tying the knot with actor-model Ameer Gillani, re-release of starlet Mawra Hocane’s debut Bollywood film Sanam Teri Kasam has made its mark at the Indian box office. Originally released in 2016, the film starring Mawra and directed by Radhika Rao and Vinay Sapru, Sanam Teri Kasam has surpassed its previous box office earnings within two days of its re-release, according to The Indian Express. 

The film, which star Harshvardhan Rane opposite Mawra, recorded a domestic net collection of 30-32.5 million Indian rupees (approximately Rs 96–104 million) bringing its total to INR 185 million (approximately Rs 595 million) as it secured INR 90 million (approximately Rs289 million) in 2016.

Film and industry experts are now estimating for it to close its first re-release week with a whopping INR 270-300 million (approximately Rs 868-964 million) as within a few days, it has garnered twice the combined net of Badass Ravikumar and Loveyapa. The milestone comes just days after Mawra got married to Gillani in an intimate wedding ceremony that has gained attention and love from fans and industry fellows.
