He emphasised that the achievement was a collective effort, giving credit to all who supported him, especially his mentor Dr. Tauseef Ahmed Khan.

"Without his guidance, this would not have been possible," he said. "I have tried to highlight an aspect of radio journalism that had not previously received academic attention."

Dr. Usmani also made special mention of his close friend Mahmood Laiq, saying, "Mr. Laiq not only offered financial support but also stood by me morally during every difficult time. This journey would not have been possible without his companionship."

He further acknowledged the support of Dr. Saifullah Khan and his daughter Dr. Anam Naz, stating, "The confidence and trust they placed in me served as a great source of motivation. Their scholarly insights and advice significantly helped refine my research."

Professor Usmani concluded his speech by discussing the future of FM radio, emerging challenges, and the need for professional training. He encouraged young researchers to explore new dimensions in journalism to further strengthen the field.
