Since her marriage in 2018, actress Aiman Khan might be missing in action on TV, but her fans still get to see her on social media.
Khan, once the most-followed local celebrity on Instagram with 5.9 million followers, spoke to BBC Urdu recently about the difference between her real life and reel life while hinting at plans to return to dramas.
“At that time, I just wanted to get married, but I got so busy with Amal right after my marriage,” she said about stepping away from the small screen. Her eldest daughter, Amal Muneeb, was born in 2019, a year after Khan tied the knot with actor Muneeb Butt. “I do get offers and people still ask, but if God wills, I have future plans. Let’s see,” she said.
Khan added that even though she is content with her life, she does miss being on the screen. “An actor always misses their acting,” she admitted. “Whenever I see people working, when Muneeb goes on a shoot, I miss it, but not that hectic routine, waking up at 9 in the morning. And the competition has grown a lot, you never know what will click and what won’t,” Khan said. “I miss it, but I’m happy right now.”
