The follow-up will draw from a later installment in Alice Hoffman’s Practical Magic book series, though plot details remain under wraps. The original film, which saw the Owens sisters battling a centuries-old family curse, flopped at the box office but has since found new life as a fan favourite. A short teaser released by Warner Bros. features a voiceover incantation from Bullock and Kidman.
