Justin Timberlake reveals struggles with Lyme disease in emotional post-tour message

Justin Timberlake ended his JT Live ’25 world tour with a heartfelt post on Instagram thanking fans, family, friends and crew for their support in the two-year stretch of performances and announcing that he had received a diagnosis for Lyme disease during the tour.

Calling it “the most fun, emotional, gratifying, physically demanding, and, at times, gruelling experience”, the singer said he loved being on tour, but had to power through “a massive amount of nerve pain” and was often “feeling crazy fatigue or sickness”. He called the disease “relentlessly debilitating, both mentally and physically”.

The lead singer of 90s sensation NSYNC was being called out by fans for lacklustre performances in his 50-city tour. He joins fellow stars Justin Bieber, Avril Lavigne and the supermodel sisters Gigi and Bella Hadid in fighting the disease. Timberlake said he was “trying to be more transparent about [his] struggles so that they aren’t misinterpreted”. He said he’d “like to do [his] part to help others experiencing this disease too”.
