Karachi, 8th September 2025 — A milestone event was celebrated in Karachi with the graduation of the first cohort of the Beauty for a Better Life program in Pakistan. The initiative aims to empower women survivors of domestic abuse and acid attacks by equipping them with professional skills and renewed confidence. Over 60 women completed an intensive four-month training in haircare, skincare, makeup, and salon hygiene. Beyond technical knowledge, the program instilled self-esteem and opened pathways to financial independence through employment and entrepreneurship. Masarrat Misbah, founder of the hosting foundation, highlighted that the initiative is not just about vocational training but about restoring dignity and reigniting hope. Globally, the program has transformed the lives of thousands of women, and Pakistan now joins this movement to support survivors in building stronger, independent futures. The graduation marks the beginning of new opportunities for women determined to rebuild their lives.
