Orlando Bloom finally breaks silence on Katy Perry split

Orlando Bloom has publicly addressed his breakup with Katy Perry for the first time, speaking warmly about his former fiancée and their shared commitment to co-parenting their daughter Daisy. The actor appeared on Today, where host Craig Melvin asked about the personal changes in his life. Bloom, now 48, responded with gratitude, making it clear that despite the separation, he and Perry remain on good terms. “I’m great, man. I’m so grateful,” Bloom said, before adding, “We have the most beautiful daughter. And we’re great. We’re going to be great. Nothing but love.” The remark was his first direct acknowledgment of the split, which was confirmed in July after six years together and a lengthy engagement.

The pair welcomed Daisy in August 2020, and since then have often spoken about the joy of parenthood. Sources close to the singer previously said Perry intended to maintain a respectful relationship with Bloom, emphasising that Daisy’s wellbeing would always come first. Bloom echoed that sentiment with his latest comments.
