It seems obvious that being good at one thing doesn’t necessarily make you good at another. But chuck in all the ego (and financial clout) that goes with being a star, and it’s unsurprising that many successful actors have tried to boost their credibility by turning director. Keeping that in mind, we took the question, “If you could make a documentary about anything, what would it be?”, to some of our favourite A-listers and here’s what they had to say. Read on:

Hira Umer
Climate change maybe.

Becks Khan
Makeup, because that’s what I love.

Usman Mukhtar
Something that is smart, not one-dimensional and has depth.

Sidra Niazi
It would be on children’s safety and protection so they can live their childhood innocently and they don’t have to grow up before age.

Amar Khan
Anything which is honest, engrossing and touches you at a humane level.

Rabya Kulsoom
I would make a documentary on signs of qayamat. I find this subject really, really interesting and how time is unfolding each and every sign.

Sabeena Syed
I think I’d love to make a documentary on the underrated travel destinations in Pakistan.

Zoha Rahman
How the education system fails our young girls, and how every society can benefit from empowering women.
