Gohar Rasheed has some advice for parents as they raise their kids. The actor recently appeared in an episode of YouTube series, Gup Shup with Fuchsia and raised an important point about how marriage lessons should be an important part of kids, particularly boys’ upbringing. 

“To all the parents,” he said, “The way you prepare kids for life, jobs and education, you should also prepare boys about the requirements and responsibilities of a marriage.” 

Gohar thinks that marriage teachings are missing when it comes to how we normally raise children and boys in particular. “If you notice, nobody prepares us for what marriage is,” he said. “You just sign a nikkah [nama] and it is assumed that your duty is done. A million things change after marriage. I changed so much after marriage, I’m sure Kubra changed. If a person is being attached to your life, it should be discussed what their pre-requisites are.”
