After nearly a year together, Tom Cruise and Ana de Armas have reportedly called time on their relationship.

According to sources close to the pair, the Mission: Impossible actor, 63, and the Knives Out star, 37, decided to end things recently after realising their relationship had lost its spark. A source told The Sun that while Cruise and de Armas “had a good time together,” they eventually decided they were “better off as mates.”

The insider added that both have handled the split “like adults” and plan to continue collaborating, de Armas is still attached to Cruise’s next film, the supernatural thriller Deeper.

Cruise and de Armas first crossed paths in February during early discussions for their upcoming film Deeper, a supernatural thriller now on hold. Their friendship soon turned romantic, and the couple went public in the spring.
