Hugh Jackman has hinted that his legendary run as Wolverine in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) might not be over, despite previously retiring the role. The actor, who first donned the adamantium claws more than two decades ago, surprised audiences with his return in the 2024 blockbuster Deadpool and Wolverine.
During a recent appearance on The View, Jackman revealed that, while he still isn’t making any firm promises, his instinct tells him there’s more of Logan’s story left to tell. Jackman stressed that he could be open to future Marvel projects.
The possibility of Jackman returning has fueled speculation that he could appear in upcoming MCU tentpoles such as Avengers: Doomsday, set for a December 2026 release, which already features a star-studded ensemble of superheroes and returning X-Men characters.
