Apple TV+ has officially ordered a new thriller series starring Dakota Fanning. The untitled project is created by Alex Cary, best known for his work on Homeland, and is produced by Sony Pictures Television.

Fanning will play an undercover U.S. Treasury agent who infiltrates a powerful multibillion-dollar international conglomerate with deep political and criminal connections. As her mission unfolds, her character becomes conflicted when she begins to believe that her primary target – the heir to the corrupt empire – may not be inherently evil. The emotional tension between duty and personal connection forms the core of the series’ narrative. Fanning also executive produces alongside Elle Fanning.
