Actors Khaqan Shahnawaz and Sabeena Syed surprised the internet by sharing their first pictures together as husband and wife.

The couple posted pictures from what appears to be their outdoor nikah, with friends, family, balloons and a tastefully selected vintage car to seal the deal. The party mostly wore what appeared to be shades of beige and off-white, with Shahnawaz pairing his sherwani with a glittery, embroidered cape and a white shawl.

Sabeen matched with her groom, wearing a seemingly similarly coloured frilled gharara. She added a splash of colour with her dupatta though, which featured pastel leaf designs designs and a gold and shocking pink border.

The couple had been the talk of the town for some time now, having announced their engagement with a cutesy, farm-core photoshoot in early December last year. The pictures, which had them frolicking in a field, were reminiscent of the romantic movies of yore.
