Nazish Jahangir reveals why she avoids heavy Iftar meals

Actress Nazish Jahangir says her approach to food is guided less by strict dieting and more by understanding her body's limits.

Appearing as a guest on a Ramadan transmission last month hosted by Faysal Quraishi, she spoke candidly about her eating habits, revealing that although she considers herself a "foodie", she cannot eat large portions in one sitting.

"I feel suffocated if I eat too much at once," she shared, adding that she once experienced breathing difficulty after overeating. Since then, she has consciously managed her portion sizes.

Jahangir explained that she prefers eating in small portions, especially at iftar. Rather than consuming a heavy meal immediately after breaking her fast, she spaces out her food intake over the evening.

"There is nothing that can replace iftar at home," she said, describing it as both a personal and comforting ritual. After breaking her fast, she continues to snack lightly in intervals until late at night a pattern she believes helps her maintain balance without feeling overwhelmed.
