Bruno Mars gets a street named after him

Bruno Mars received a grand tribute on the Las Vegas Strip, where a street was officially renamed Bruno Mars Drive in recognition of his lasting impact on the city’s entertainment scene.

The celebration featured a parade along the Strip, with Mars joining a special convoy that passed major landmarks, including the Bellagio Fountains, before arriving near Park MGM. The venue has been central to his success, hosting his residency at Dolby Live since 2016. Over the years, Mars has performed more than 120 shows there, making it one of the most successful residencies in Las Vegas history.

During the ceremony, Nevada Governor Joe Lombardo and Clark County Commissioner Jim Gibson presented Mars with a proclamation declaring Bruno Mars Day, along with a key to the Strip. Marking the milestone with a philanthropic gesture, Mars also announced a $1 million donation to Intermountain Children’s Health.

The contribution will support the development of a new children’s hospital in Las Vegas, underscoring his commitment to giving back to the community that has played a significant role in his career.
