As part of the 10-year celebrations of Shaan-e-Pakistan, SEPMA Academy hosted an award ceremony and press conference to promote inclusivity and announce new partnerships under the theme “Together We Grow.” The initiative will culminate in the Jashn e Shaan-e-Pakistan 2026 Inclusivity Festival later this year.

The event was attended by prominent personalities, including Dr. Ramesh Kumar Vankwani, Sahir Lodhi, Razzak Pardesi, the Consul General of Morocco, and Ishtiaq Baig. Visually impaired students from Ida Rieu opened the ceremony with Tilawat, Naat, and the national anthem.

A key highlight was the presentation of the prestigious Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan Award to Gulsher, a talented visually impaired student of Ida Rieu. Citations were also awarded to students from Ida Rieu, IHRI, and TCF in recognition of their achievements.

Speaking at the event, founder Huma Haji Zikar Pardesi emphasised the importance of partnerships, inclusivity, and fundraising to create international opportunities for specially abled artists. The ceremony also featured an awareness tableau promoting inclusion and empowerment.

SEPMA Academy, established to provide free music education to visually impaired and specially abled individuals, continues to foster talent and create pathways for national and international recognition through the transformative power of music.
