After 12 years in Pakistan’s entertainment industry, actress Kinza Hashmi says she still does not feel she has fully “made it,” describing success as a continuous journey rather than a destination. In a recent interview, she shared that she prefers meaningful projects over chasing fame, saying, “I don’t want to be part of any race. I do projects that feel right in my heart.”
The actress spoke about the challenges of public criticism, evolving industry standards, and the pressure created by social media. She emphasised that consistency is key for actors, noting, “You have to remain constant or, if you take a break, people will forget you.”
Kinza explained the importance of deeply understanding her characters and bringing realistic emotions to the screen. She also revealed that her passion for singing, which began during school, remains close to her heart.
Through her reflections, Kinza highlighted the importance of staying grounded, continuously learning, and remaining emotionally connected to one’s craft.
