Jennifer Lopez made a surprise appearance at Prime Video’s inaugural Obsessed Fest in Los Angeles, where she introduced the Off Campus panel and delighted fans with an unexpected crossover moment.
The singer and actress appeared on stage before the cast discussion, drawing loud cheers from the audience as she helped kick off the panel for the hit Prime Video series.
Lopez also reflected on the renewed attention surrounding her 2011 hit On the Floor, which has enjoyed a fresh surge in popularity after being featured in a viral Off Campus scene.
"And I can't believe that On the Floor is back on the charts. The whole thing really was hitting me last night," Lopez said. The renewed interest stems from a memorable Halloween party sequence in Off Campus, in which a character asks the DJ to play On the Floor. The scene quickly spread across social media, sending the 15-year-old track back up the music charts.
Lopez said the moment highlights how much the music industry has changed in the streaming era. "You can have a song that was a huge hit 15 years ago and also be a hit today. That's insane to me. That never happened before social media, before viral moments, before streaming and all of that. So there are new and exciting opportunities for all artists," she expressed.
