Singer Bilal Maqsood has announced the fourth season of his popular children’s programme Pakkay Dost, promising more educational content, engaging songs and a renewed focus on fostering children’s love for the Urdu language.

He shared the news in a video posted on Instagram, revealing that the new season will premiere on YouTube at the end of this month. Speaking about the upcoming season, the singer highlighted the idea behind Pakkay Dost: creating healthy and wholesome entertainment in Urdu while making the language feel relevant and enjoyable for younger audiences.

“To make Pakkay Dost was to try to make healthy and wholesome content in Urdu which would make Urdu cool and relevant for children,” he said. The new season will continue the programme’s educational approach through music and entertaining performances. In one clip, actress Syra Yousuf can be seen dancing along to songs exploring the history of the Urdu language and introducing children to new vocabulary.

The singer encouraged parents to watch the programme alongside their children, saying the series has been designed to be entertaining and informative for the entire family. According to him, Pakkay Dost now features more than 50 songs covering a wide range of subjects and facts.
