Pakistan Moves Toward Advanced AI Data Center Infrastructure

Data Vault Partners with U.S. Experts to Upgrade Cooling Systems for Next-Generation AI Chips

Pakistan is taking another step toward strengthening its AI data center infrastructure as Data Vault moves to upgrade its facilities for advanced artificial intelligence (AI) chips.

With support from U.S. technology experts, Data Vault has initiated a project to improve its data storage, processing and cooling capabilities for high-performance computing systems. The initiative is aimed at preparing the facility for the growing demand for AI computing and next-generation data center technology.

As part of the project, a team of U.S. specialists visited Data Vault’s facility in Karachi to assess its existing cooling infrastructure and identify improvements required to support advanced AI chips. Efficient cooling is increasingly important for modern data centers because high-performance AI processors generate substantial heat during intensive computing operations.

The experts are expected to provide recommendations for upgrading the facility’s cooling system and preparing it for the installation of advanced AI hardware. The project could help enhance Pakistan’s capacity for AI computing, cloud infrastructure, data processing and digital technology services.

The development highlights Pakistan’s growing focus on artificial intelligence, data centers and high-performance computing infrastructure, while international technical collaboration could further support the country’s emerging digital economy.
