Brooklyn Beckham has covered a tattoo reading “Mamma’s boy” with a new floral design, amid his reported estrangement from his parents, Victoria and David Beckham.

The 27-year-old model recently shared a shirtless photograph showing the new body art, which conceals the tattoo referencing his relationship with his mother. The change comes after Brooklyn publicly addressed his relationship with his family earlier this year.

In a statement shared on Instagram in January, Brooklyn said he did not want to reconcile with his family and accused his parents of repeatedly disrespecting his wife, Nicola Peltz Beckham. He also alleged that his parents had attempted to control him throughout his life. “My wife and I do not want a life shaped by image, press or manipulation. All we want [is] peace, privacy and happiness for us and our future family,” he wrote.
