The Princess Warrior

Huma Adnan teams up with one of the current sweethearts of cinema, Hania Amir in a bid to create head-turning looks from her latest collection, fresh off the ramp.

Not so tangy

The jewellery is the star of this look. Granted the coral skirt, too, is an absolute beauty! There are lots of interesting details in this look, let’s dissect – the cuffs of the sleeves are embroidered in the same colour as the base of shirt which gives a subtle highlight to them, the belt fits perfectly on to the waist to give the crop top an A-line peplum-cut effect and the statement neckpiece is left hanging diagonally to bestow rebel vibes to the otherwise soft look.

Fresh from Cape Town

Capes have become one of the most favourite separates for stylists, celebrities and designers to work with. And why not? They cover up your flaws if you have broad shoulders and imparts your dress an instant touch of elegance. They are great for transforming your look from semi formal to formal and for adding a pop of colour to a neutral outfit. That is exactly what the sky blue embroidered cape does here for the all-white jumpsuit. Need some more bright shading? Go for a loud pout to top it off.

Pretty in Pink

For one of the prettiest looks of this summer, Hania was dolled up in a floral printed pink gown. The piece in itself is quite simple with little to no detailing except having puffed cuffs. It’s the vibrant colour of the dress that packs a punch. The most feminine colour of all is juxtaposed with the boldness of a dark chocolate brown waist belt and the roughness of metallic jewellery; a one-ear piece and layered statement necklace. Keep your tresses at bay from your ears to let the earring shine through.

Totally Unleashed

Fed up of all the extra layers causing a meltdown in this heat? Shed off all the separates and go for one-piece dresses. A great trend to combine with such outfits is colour blocking. You can also go for solid bold hues. But if none of that appeals to you, opt for a neutral colour and pair it with interesting accessories; tribal, coin, truck art and sea shell jewellery are your best bets. Add into the mix belts and scarves to stand out in the crowd.
