The Kapoors and Bhatts have officially posted their first ‘we are family’ photograph together. Neetu Kapoor did the honours by posting this million dollar image of Ranbir’s birthday on her instagram account. In the photo, Alia is spotted in a pretty navy blue Gucci jersey V-neck dress that has vibrant red mid-waist and a bold red bow belt and costs $1,800. Sans make-up, Alia looked fresher than a daisy with silver ear loops and side-parted hair.

If sources are to be believed, a very informal engagement ceremony also took place at Neetu Kapoor’s insistence. Mom Neetu has never been more sure of any of Ranbir’s girlfriends. So on his birthday she suddenly decided on an impromptu ceremony, said a source close to the family.

Ranbir too is pretty sure Alia is the girl he wants to marry. “Ranbir is the first among Alia’s boyfriend that  Mahesh Bhatt has really bonded with. Both Ranbir and Alia’s parents are very happy with the alliance. The families are looking at a 2020 wedding,” informs the source.
