Bollywood’s ‘it’ couple, Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol are apparently gearing up to share the big screen one more time.

The duo might be seen in Hindi Medium 2, the sequel to the Irrfan Khan, Saba Qamar-starrer. According to a report in Bombay Times, producer Dinesh Vijan of Maddock Films has approached the Dilwale stars to play the lead pair in the upcoming installment of the social drama.

As per the same report, the two actors have already participated in the initial reading sessions.

Saket Chaudhary, the director of the prequel, has been replaced by Homi Adajania, who has earlier helmed films Cocktail (2012) and Finding Fanny (2014) for the film production banner.

Shah Rukh and Irrfan have earlier worked together in 2009 film Billu. Off-screen too, the two share a great rapport.

A couple of months ago, there were rumours that Shah Rukh had given the Piku actor the keys to his London house where the latter is being treated for neuroendocrine tumour.
