At a time when most tourism companies are resiling from Pakistan, GeoEx (Geographic Expeditions), a pioneer of travel to remote and challenging destinations, has just launched a 16-day itinerary from Islamabad to Karachi, with a focus on Indus Valley archeological sites and Mughal-era monuments. The inaugural departure, limited to just 12 guests, includes meetings with local people and special access at premier sights. The new tour was planned by GeoEx trip developer Sara Barbieri, who traces her ancestry to the Punjab region and will also lead the group. Trip dates are starting December 3-18, 2019.
