Kit Harington participates in BGC Charity Day for 9/11

Kit Harington took control of the phones last week at the 15th annual BGC Charity Day, taking part in the Canary Wharf, London, outpost of the event. The event honours the employees who were killed in the 9/11 terror attacks and sees celebrities making calls and raising money to benefit the charity of their choice. The “Game of Thrones” star, 32, looked happy and healthy after receiving treatment for alcohol addiction in May as he worked to receive donations for his charity of choice, Mencap, which supports people with learning disabilities. “My cousin Laurent is one of the 1.5 million people in the UK who has a learning disability,” Harington said. “People who have a learning disability need extra support to lead the life they wish to. Mencap has supported my cousin to live the life he wants and that’s why I am proud to support Mencap.” Prince Harry also attended the event and was photographed holding two phones simultaneously.
