At the recently held South Asian Film Festival in Washington DC, lead actor Ahmed Ali Akbar bagged the award for Best Male Actor. In an exclusive interview with MAG the Parchi actor says, “Representing Pakistan and winning this award fills my heart with pride. The recognition from for my DCSAFF work amongst my fraternity, my equals, my betters is truly humbling.” Many congratulations to the ace actor! And we know this is only the beginning of accolades for Laal Kabootar. A few weeks ago, the critically acclaimed film was also selected for the Academy Awards as contribution from Pakistan.
