The Five

The Peanut Butter Falcon
Genre: Adventure

A down-on-his-luck crab fisherman embarks on a journey to get a young man with Down syndrome to a professional wrestling school in rural North Carolina and away from the retirement home where he’s lived most of his life.

The Death of Superman
Genre: Animation

When a hulking monster arrives on Earth and begins a mindless rampage, the Justice League is quickly called in to stop it. But it soon becomes apparent that only Superman can stand against the monstrosity.

Kurt Cobain: Montage of Heck
Documentary

At 27, Kurt Cobain was one of the most famous musicians on the planet – a status that he would have rather avoided, and a level of fame that, along with his mental illness and drug addiction, led to his downfall. Two decades after his suicide, Montage of Heck attempts to piece together a portrait of Cobain, one told by the loved ones he left behind (including his Nirvana bandmates), as well as his personal audio recordings and juvenilia.

Roy Wood Jr: No One Loves You
Genre: Stand-up comedy

Too often, a comic will position himself as someone who “tells it like it is” in order to present a reactionary argument as tough love. Roy Wood Jr. has always avoided this kind of condescension, even as he adopts a firm position, as he certainly does in No One Loves You. This is the kind of political comedy that actually addresses the country’s divide, as opposed to simply mining it for material.

Jim James: The Order of Nature
Music album

My Morning Jacket singer Jim James, composer Teddy Abrams, and the Louisville Orchestra collaborate for music album, something that has been long time coming. Our first taste of this large-scale symphonic suite is Set It to Song. It has the pace of a My Morning Jacket ballad with classical instrumentation and cinematic delivery.
