According to a report, Jonah Hill has chosen to respectfully bow out of the upcoming The Batman film starring Robert Pattinson. Variety was the first to report that after Jonah was considered to play the villain in the film, directed by Matt Reeves, he changed his mind. Moreover, the outlet stated that Jonah’s role was never really hammered out fully, and his inclusion was in the earliest stages of negotiations. Variety claims the deal was far away from actually being struck and signed. It was reported by multiple outlets that Jonah would be starring as the villain, however, as it was noted above, that has since fallen through. The producers for The Batman chose Jonah as the number one pick for the antagonist and even had him in the back of their minds before they chose Pattinson as the titular character.
