On personal style

“I think my personal style is a cross between minimal and eclectic. I like to take elements from all sorts of ‘styles’ and mix it all together to make my own.”

Her choice of lipstick stalwart

“All day every day, my Drool by Flesh Beauty”

Three ‘ultimate’ skincare staples

“First and foremost, sunscreen. I cannot emphasise enough on how important it is to use one. A good water soluble cleanser. It sets the stage for your entire skincare regimen. A hydrating moisturiser. No matter what state your skin is in, it needs to be hydrated at all times. Lip balm is important too – the best and most effective balm for lips tried and tested is our good ol’ vaseline.”

On skin prep before makeup

“My skin tends to get extremely dry so if I don’t exfoliate it at-least once a week, anything that I put on my face whether it’s make up or skincare will look flaky and blotchy. I use the green tea exfoliating pads by Neogen (sokoglam) and they’re the absolute best. I cannot recommend them enough. It’s very gentle yet effective, takes off all the dead skin which makes the skin look so much smoother. That automatically makes the makeup application process better. I make sure to use that to prep my skin before a big event. Post exfoliating,I use a hydrating sheet mask and end my skin prep with the Drunk Elephant Marula oil and eye cream from Beauty Bio.”

On her everyday makeup look

“My everyday make up look is super basic. I don’t like my face with a lot of makeup so this is literally my go to look for everything.

Here’s a breakdown of the products I use;

Sunscreen (LaRoche Posay Anthelios 60).

Concealer (Josie Maran Argan Oil Concealer).

Mascara (Maybelline).

Blush (Lilah B.).

Highlighter (Flesh Beauty & Fenty).

Eyebrow Gel (Benefit Gimme Brow+).

Lipstick (Flesh Beauty)”.
