Paksitani short film makes it to international film festival

Hamza Bangash’s new short film, Stray Dogs Come Out at Night, will be having its World Premiere at Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival 2020. The Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival is the biggest international film festival dedicated to short films. It is held annually in Clermont-Ferrand, France, and is the second largest film festival in France after Cannes. Considered to be the Cannes for short films, 2020 had over 7000 submissions with only 80 films selected. Stray Dogs Come Out at Night is one of the 80 films that made the cut, and will be competing as part of the International Competition. It is the first Pakistani film to be selected in the history of the festival.
