Angeline Malik has always played an active part in raising her voice against child abuse, but now the actress will be raising awareness about it with Faran Tahir’s upcoming film The Window. Malik will be making her Hollywood debut in the role of a mother who is bound to follow the custom of Vani in order to protect her family. The Window is based on the grave practice of Vani and addresses the issue of women's rights and most importantly, the evolution of Pakistani society as a whole to acknowledge this grave subject which is still found in certain parts of the country. The film portrays the unexplored local culture of Pakistan and is based on true events that twists through the complicated bonds of love and family, and portrays the destruction that's caused by attaining revenge.
