Badaam Halwa

Ingredients

· 1 cup soaked almond

· 1 cup milk

· ¼ cup desi ghee

· 1 cup sugar

· ½ teaspoon cardamom powder

· ½ cup dry milk powder

· 1 tablespoon butter

· 3-4 tablespoons chopped almonds

Method

Soak almonds overnight or in boiled water for 10 minutes then peel off the skin. Blend almonds and milk together and make a thick paste. Now heat desi ghee in a pan and add almond paste. Stir continuously and cook until the water dries. Add sugar and cook until sugar dissolves and the mixture start leaving the sides. Then add cardamom powder and dry milk powder. Cook until the mixture gets thick and start leaving the sides. In other pan heat butter then add chopped almonds and roast for a minute. Garnish the halwa with roasted almonds and serve.
