Orizzonti award winning short film Darling goes out to screen at yet another international film festival. The film is a debut venture for transgender actress Alina Khan, who dreams to star in Bollywood. The story as is develops further shows a young boy who helps his friend in auditioning for the lead role in a dance show. The film has already gained a lot of recognition and also bagged the first award at Venice Film Festival. It also screened at the Toronto International Film Festival and is now all set for screening at the SXSW Film Festival with being nominated for a Grand Jury award too. The filmmaker shared the news on his Instagram and the crew is now planning to travel for the festival which is going to be held in Texas.
