Anoushey Ashraf, one of the first and undoubtedly the most loved female VJ of this country began her career in 2002 and since, she has been unstoppable. She is seen hosting red carpets of corporate events, fashion weeks and award shows all too often. Ashraf, not only a VJ-turned-host but also a self proclaimed animal rights activist, is a force to be reckoned with. We connect with one of the finest TV hosts of Pakistan’s entertainment industry for a quick rapid fire. Excerpts:

I can fry an egg while singing [laughs].
That I’m a good human being. I felt like someone had given me the biggest compliment in the world.
I acknowledge my inner child everyday and still make Legos, puzzles etc even at this age, so being a child for a day wouldn’t do much for me.
Fortunately, I don’t collect much of anything. I give away as much as possible and don’t hoard on anything at all.
Good music. It always helps lift my mood.
Meditation for good mental health and sleep.
One day, earlier in my career when I was enjoying all the perks of being a celebrity, I walked in a shopping place in Islamabad. I was walking into the store and accidentally tripped on the stairs and fell so hard. That was very, very embarrassing.
I wish I had more time to read. I used to read three to four hours a day at one point. Now it takes me three to four months to finish a book.
Prince Charles. I met him and was dumbfounded. Today, I have so much more to say.
