Aijaz Aslam will be seen in a negative role in his latest serial Uraan

GOOD GONE BAD

Versatility should be within an actor’s repertoire. Of course, some performers specialise in a select group of roles they take on, not even because they have been type casted. Nonetheless, being able to take on many different forms means you can reach wider audiences, rather than cater to your specific fan bases. We all have seen ace actor and model, Aijaz Aslam, as a protagonist in most of his dramas, as the saviour of the day, but you’ll be astonished to find that the very actor is turning into a big meanie in his latest drama Uraan. Talking about his role in the drama, the actor said, “My role portrays someone who is commonly found lurking around in our society, who keep their personal gains before anyone else – and that is what makes it all the more challenging to portray. Playing these roles is always an enriching experience, and I hope I have done justice to it.” The ensemble cast of the drama also includes Adeel Chaudhry, Kinza Hashmi, Muhammad Usama Khan, Farhan Malhi, Rubina Ashraf, Zainab Qayyum, and others in key roles.
