Two sea lions abruptly charge at a group of beachgoers at San Diego's renowned La Jolla Cove in a video that has gone popular online. In the video, beachgoers can be seen fleeing from the approaching creatures. A Fox5 story claims that the event happened on Sunday night when summer throngs, largely tourists, swarmed the small, protected beach - one of the most famous in California - in an effort to acquire close-up pictures with the lovely sea mammals and freshly weaned pups. Two sea lions are seen chasing away tourists in the footage. After noticing the creatures approaching them, people can be heard yelling and sprinting away. "I feel like people should educate themselves a little bit about the marine life here - what to do, what not to do, respect the sea lions, don't touch them, don't get in their space," Japhet Perez Estrada, a La Jolla native and business owner, said to FOX 5 on Monday. He swims the cove every day and captured video of the incident as he was getting out of the water.
