A daring thief used only her teeth to steal a £700 iPhone from an Apple store. In CCTV footage from the store in Fujian, south-east China, the woman, known only as "Qiu," initially appears to be merely browsing. After carefully examining the MacBooks, she moves over to examine the most recent iPhone model, which is presently available for roughly £700 in the UK, and begins tinkering with it. In a matter of seconds, she does the unthinkable by picking up the phone, putting it in her mouth, and starting to chew the anti-theft wire, which is formed of hard metal fibres. Without engaging in any form of conflict, Qiu successfully bites through the wire and calmly puts it in her bag before leaving the store.
