Johnny Depp is pandemic-ally forced to join the platform

Finally on the ‘Gram

It appears that the global coronavirus pandemic has urged superstar Johnny Depp to finally join Instagram and grace his fans with a cover of John Lennon's Isolation. The veteran actor made his debut, and instantly amassed more than 1.5 million followers on the very first day that he joined the social media website. The picture captured him sitting on a bench, surrounded by candles in what seemed like a lit cave. The star revealed his reason for joining the social media platform, referring to the coronavirus pandemic as the "invisible enemy who has already caused immeasurable tragedies and enormous damage to people’s lives". “I feel we need to try to help each other throughout these dark times, these trying times – for those we love, for our community, for ourselves, for the world and for the future,” he encouraged his followers.
