Qamar has been fiercely speaking on the topics many tread callously. She recently released her fifth video which is all about the active rishta brigade and its hypocrisies. According to her, this is one of her favourite episodes. “This bunch of talented people came together to address the unaddressed,” the caption wrote. The video highlights some of the horrendous issues precisely, the toxic rishta culture, colourism, equality, women’s rights and gender discrimination that are prevalent in our society. Her monologue is worth listening to as she talks about how society treats women. “I want to get married for myself, not to for people,” she quotes at the end of the video.
