Cinemas around Pakistan are reopening from March 15

Cinematic bliss

Good news for the moviegoers: Cinema is back as the country unlocks further. One year after they were forced to close by governments due to covid-19, theatres are all set to reopen in Pakistan. The National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) has decided to allow reopening of cinemas in Pakistan from March 15. However, the coronavirus SOPs will remain in place and the safety protocols including face masks, zero contact, physical distancing, temperature checks, and relentless sanitisation will be strictly followed. Though cinemas have not yet displayed the showtimes, we assume all international hits and Pakistani films that we have been anticipating will finally come to a screen near us. Cinema is certainly back after having a particularly hard time during the pandemic, but if its return isn't handled well, its future might be unrecognisable.
