It’s in our nature as humans to appreciate things that stand out from the rest. Whether it’s a sports victory or a notable scientific accomplishment, we love appreciating exceptional talent and hard work – and the film industry is no different. While there are quite a number of amazing award shows, Filmfare Middle East Achievers Night held at The Meydan Hotel on October 28 was the most important annual award show to be held as it brought Pakistani, Indian and Arabic cinema and stars under one roof. When it came down to celebrity power, glamour, and spectacle, there was no beating all the action that took place at the grandeur event. It was a night filled with dramatic entrances by powerhouse talents like Egyptian superstar Mohamad Ramadan and Bollywood actors Nawazuddin Siddique, Zeenat Aman, and Pakistani superstars like Ejaz Aslam, Faysal Quraishi, Mahira Khan, Maya Ali, Ayesha Omar, Ahad Raza Mir, Sheheryar Munawar and many, many more. While Mahira Khan, Ahad Raza Mir, Sajal Aly and Sheheryar Munawar are a few names that won big at the glamourous night.
