Amidst many Pakistani movies that are slated to release in cinemas this year, Yasir Nawaz has tried to experiment a little with the genre of his films and this time he is coming up with a murder-mystery and thriller named Chakkar. Starring Ahsan Khan and Neelam Muneer, the film is all set to release on Eid ul Fitr 2022. Yasir took to Instagram and shared the poster as well as the release date. The film’s first teaser was also released during a star-studded launch party. Produced by Nida Yasir and Yasir Nawaz, the film is directed by Yasir. The teaser shows glimpses of Neelam Muneer in different avatars, and the poster also shows Neelam’s character as the centre of the big mystery. The film also stars Javed Sheikh, Ahmed Hasan, Mehmood Aslam and Naved Raza amongst others. The teaser claims that Chakkar is going to be “a thriller and mystery so shocking and intriguing like never seen before”. And we can’t wait to find out more. Though we are not sure about Chakkar’s story, but we’re sure the lead pair will cast their on-screen magic once again.
