Amna Malik’s upcoming drama highlights the societal issue of child marriage

Actress Amna Malik’s upcoming drama will reportedly tackle the issues of family and the highly sensitive issue of child marriage. Tentatively titled Child Marriage, it is being produced by Big Bang Entertainment and will go on-air after Eid. “The script is very interesting, people will enjoy it while watching the drama,” Amna shared with a publication. She plays the role of Nauman Ijaz’s sister who has come from Kuwait. “It is like an old drama such as Ankahi, a similar kind of family is shown in this [drama]. It shows the 70s era where we all wear churidaar pyjamas,” she added. The drama has been directed by Syed Meesum Naqvi and also stars Nauman Ijaz, Maria Wasti, Maya Khan, Saad, Paras, Diya Mughal and Sajida Syed in pivotal roles.
