In a shocking turn of events, the fake news of actor Saeeda Imtiaz’s death shocked the internet when it circulated. The actor, later in the day, herself stated that the announcement about her death was the result of her Instagram account being hacked and that she is all well. “I don’t know why someone would do this,” she said in a video posted on her Instagram account. She said she woke up that morning to many calls and messages from people asking about her wellbeing. She said the situation sent her into a shock. The initial post, posted to her verified Instagram account, claimed that Imitiaz had been found dead in her room that morning. She said that the news sent her mother and siblings, none of whom live in Pakistan, into a panic. She said someone hacked her Facebook and Instagram accounts, which were linked. “I understand teasing or bullying someone, but I don’t understand bullying someone to this extent where it hurts them and their family!” she said in the video. “You don’t know what the person in front of you is going through.” The actor participated in Adnan Siddiqui’s reality show Tamasha Ghar, a while back, which bought her in the limelight all over again.
