Osman Khalid Butt began his acting career with theater and has now made a big name in TV and films. Butt is returning to his theater roots with a play titled Phadda. He took to his social media to announce his upcoming play. “What better way to welcome the Roaring Twenties than to return to my theatre roots with an Insolent Knights showcase performance. This was one of the most challenging, complex plays I’ve done – and in a time where masculinity is being redefined, one of the most important,” he wrote. Phadda is based on a book by Gary McNair and Kieran Hurley Square Go. The show adapted and directed by Osman Khalid Butt and will also be starring Usman Mukhtar alongside Butt. The play will tour Islamabad, Lahore and Karachi.
